Our biggest  event of the year is our VIP Hospitality Day at the Bournemouth Air Festival and it was so good to get back to it after all the Covid restrictions. The priority was that our guests had an enjoyable day and with that achieved, the event was a real success.  Over £3500 was raised by the raffle and ‘Silent Auction’ and we are extremely grateful for all the kind donations that made this possible.

We had a fabulous day in glorious sunshine, with delicious food and an outstanding flying display.  Proceedings got underway with the hugely talented Land Girls. The hospitality package included, welcome drinks, 2 course lunch and afternoon cream tea. The whole event was organised and run by Tracey and her outstanding team from Slick Events.

The day was not without drama however as one of the guests, an RAF veteran from the Second World War sadly lost his original ‘Wings’ (pictured below) while walking along the promenade to the marquee. A full scale alert went out on Social Media and the police even used tracker dogs to try and locate the badge, but unfortunately there is no news as yet.

Our thanks must go to all our guests who supported this event so generously, however, without the kind contributions from a great many individuals and businesses this fundraising would not be possible.
