LeAF Studio School swept aside tough competition to lift the national title in the Rock Challenge Finals in Rotherham last month.

The JTYAF was delighted to contribute towards the transport, food and accommodation for the 120 students to take part and absolutely thrilled to hear that they had been crowned National Champions in the final.

LeAF’s Holocaust-themed production called Through Innocent Eyes, was inspired by the movie The Boy in Striped Pyjamas.

Teachers Geoff Lake and Billie Aplin worked with the students to create the piece and Mr Lake told the Daily Echo: “It was so exciting because it was a real community effort to get us there."
