Tandem Skydive Raises over £6,000 for the JTYAF

Fourteen fearless participants took part in a ‘Jump with the Tigers’ early on Sunday morning 2nd August, at Airfield Camp Netheravon, raising more than £6,000 for the JTYAF.

A very big thank you to Daniel Nye who completed the London2Brighton Challenge - the 100k Ultra Marathon, in aid of the JTYAF by crossing the finish line at 2110hrs on Saturday 23rd May 2015. The challenge took Daniel just under 15 hours and consisted of 100k (62 miles) over rough terrain and steep hills. He has raised over £700, which is a fantastic achievement.

John would have been 30 years old on April 12th and here at the JTYAF we thought that it was a fitting tribute to take on a 30 mile challenge in his memory. The final test on the Royal Marine Commando Course is a 30 miler, across Dartmoor with kit, so 30 miles is quite a significant distance for Royal Marines.
